Ryan F. Larkin Field Hospital

At the beginning of the pandemic—fresh off of being laid off by an agency gig—I was not feeling creative... I thought I might not design ever again. But then a neighbor told me about her cousin and a bunch of special forces medics were heading to New York City (the epicenter of Covid-19 at the time) to open a field hospital in NYC and name it after another former special forces medic: Ryan F. Larkin.

I was reinvigorated... design with a purpose! I needed to design something that spoke to New York, showed a sense of importance, and was official-looking at first glance (when security was its tightest). Ultimately, my client gave the *chef's kiss* to every concept.
